Mormonism
A Study of Joseph Smith Jr. and the Book of Mormon
Joseph Smith Jr. claimed to be an inspired prophet and was given a revelation that was first published to the world in 1830 AD. Is this work inspired by God? Is it holy Scripture or the imagination of a man. This series investigates Mr. Smith's claims and teaching under the searchlight of the Bible. If the Book of Mormon is Scripture, one cannot be saved rejecting it. If it is not Scripture, one cannot be saved accepting it.
One should begin refuting Mormonism with the very cover title, "Another Testament of Jesus Christ." This should be weighed heavily against the warnings in Galatians 1:6-9 and 2 Corinthians 11:1-4 of "another gospel," "another Jesus," and "a different gospel."
Galatians 1:8, "But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed."
